Effect of some fungicides inserted in the seed coat of sugarbeet

The efficacy of hymexazol applied during the pelleting of sugarbeet seed was compared with that of fungicide treatments traditionally used in Italy (iprodione and thiram) over 3 years in greenhouse and field studies in France and England. In both greenhouse and field studies, seed germinability was highest in treatments involving hymexazol.
