Effect of some plant growth regulators on conidial germination of some plant pathogenic fungi

The effect of 5 plant growth regulators on conidial germination of Alternaria tenuissima, Botrytis cinerea, Curvularia sp., Fusarium lini and Monilia sp. was investigated in vitro. All the plant growth regulators were effective in inhibiting conidial germination of all the fungi. Max. inhibition was found in F. lini with maleic hydrazide at 100 micro g/ml.
