Effect of some technological factors on the gluing quality of laminated window profiles

Effect of some technological factors on the gluing quality of laminated window profiles

Drvna Industrija 43(3): 100-104

Window-frame profiles were manufactured from fir/spruce glulam (Abies alba/Picea abies), using 2-component commercial adhesives, viz. Durolak 150 and Durolak 260 with K101 hardener. Glue-bond quality was determined by delamination tests after various hydrothermal treatment cycles. Delamination was observed on 0-9% of the total length of the glueline on the end-grain surfaces.
