Effect of species and cultivar on N, P and K content of leaf samples from 13 cultivars grafted on sour orange rootstock

Leaf samples taken over 3 years from 8- to 11-year-old mandarin, orange, lemon and tangelo cultivars grafted on sour orange rootstock contained on average 2.4, 2.29, 2.05 and 2.07% DM of N, respectively. Differences amongst cultivars were only significant in oranges. Leaves of lemon cultivars Frost Eureka and Cavers Lisbon had the lowest K concentrations (1.13 and 1.18% DM, respectively).
