In field trials on good and very good rye complex soil near Poznan in 1987-89, fodder beet Tedamono was grown as a 2nd crop after Lolium multiflorum sown alone or with rye or rye + winter vetch. The fodder beet was given 0-240 kg N/ha, with or without sprinkler irrigation to maintain soil moisture at 70% of field capacity.
