Effect of storage conditions on shelf-life of Gola ber (Zizyphus mauritiana Lamk.) fruits

Fruits of Zizyphus mauritiana Gola were packed in perforated cardboard boxes and stored under different conditions, viz. room temperature, modified atmosphere storage (boxes were put in polyethylene bags), zero energy storage and zero energy + modified atmosphere storage. After 12 days, fruits under zero energy storage showed the least physiological weight loss (5.34%, compared with 10.83% after only 10 days at room temperature).
