Effect of substrates on development of hovenia seedlings

Effect of substrates on development of hovenia seedlings

Agropecuaria Catarinense 7(1): 35-36

Seedlings of Hovenia dulcis (7.5 cm high) were transplanted into 4 soil-based substrates. They were grown for 4 months in a nursery and were then assessed for height, FW and DW. The tallest and heaviest plants were obtained in a substrate consisting of the top 5 cm of field soil.
