Effect of sucker treatment with insecticides on incidence of banana-rhizome weevil (Cosmopolites sordidus)

In field trials in Kerala in 1982-87, phosphamidon at 2% was the most effective of 6 insecticides tested against Cosmopolites sordidus on banana, giving the lowest damage and greatest yield.
