Evaluation of some environmental factors affecting weaning weight of Rahmany and Barki lambs



Alexandria Journal of Agricultural Research 39(2): 149-166



Data were analysed on 1524 Rahmani and 1154 Barki lambs born at an experiment station during 1942-91. The lambs were classified as (1) single-born and single-reared, (2) twin/triplet-born and single-reared, and (3) twin/triplet-born and twin-reared. Single-born/single-reared lambs were significantly heavier at weaning than lambs of the other to birth type/rearing classes.
