Manual de produccion de semillas horticolas: fasciculo 5: produccion de "semilla" de ajo: v + 165 pp.



This manual includes chapters on selection of cultivation zones suitable for production of garlic 'seed' (cloves) for propagation, organogenesis and morphology of bulbs and cloves, garlic physiology (growth, bulb development, dormancy and sprouting), conventional propagation, techniques for improving the rate of propagation, in vitro propagation, cultural methods for 'seed' production, harvesting and storage of garlic 'seed', pest and disease transmission and control (viruses, fungi, mites and nematodes), cultivar descriptions, and standards for production.
