Insect pest problems of eucalypt plantations in Australia. 5. South Australia

Insect pest problems of eucalypt plantations in Australia. 5. South Australia

Australian Forestry 56(4): 378-380

Eucalypt (Eucalyptus spp.) plantations account for a very small proportion of the forest resource of South Australia; so far there have been very few insect problems in these plantations although Mnesampela privata and Eriococcus coriaceous have caused considerable damage in some plantations. Of more recent concern are Tryphocharia acanthocera and Heteronyx elongatus.
