Land reforms in tribal areas: a study of problems due to governmental measures
This paper examines the land and forest rights of the tribals of Sonebhadra district of Uttar Pradesh, India, and points out that the State Government has not only failed to confer legitimate land rights to them, but also to demarcate forest land from non-forest areas, which has accentuated their problems.
