Ploughs to improve planosol (Bai Jiang Tu) solum (part 1). Soil bin tests with model ploughs



Journal of the Japanese Society of Agricultural Machinery 57(2): 3-11



Field cultivation tests were carried out by one to one mixing of the second (Aw) and the third (B) horizons to improve planosol solum whilst leaving the first (Ap) horizon undisturbed. Basic soil bin tests on soil mixing were conducted. Half-size models of 3 different plough blades were used.
