A laboratory study was conducted to estimate the various nutritional indices of Spilostethus pandurus in different nymphal instars and to determine its total food intake at 28 +or- 1 degrees C and 50-65% RH using sunflower seeds as food. The overall averages of the different nutritional indices were 0.807 +or- 0.429, 0.250 +or- 0.080, 37.934 +or- 14.949, 53.375 +or- 19.212 and 64.790 +or- 9.422 for C.I., G.R., E.C.I., A.D. and E.C.D., resp.
