Rabbit growth and reproductive performance as influenced by feeding desert forage (Acacia saligna and Atriplex nummularia) at North Sinai

Egyptian Journal of Rabbit Science 4(1): 25-36

In the 1st of 2 trials, New Zealand White growing were fed for 40 days on a concentrate diet (controls) or 75 or 50% of the control diet, supplemented in the case of the last 2 diets with Atriplex ad lib. There were 20 rabbits per group. The average daily gains of rabbits on the 50%-concentrate diet were significantly lower than those of rabbits on the other 2 diets.
