Brine shrimp nauplii with different fatty acid compositions were fed to larvae of striped bass, Morone saxatilis and palmetto bass (M. saxatilis x M. chrysops) for 17 days. Sources of brine shrimp were Chinese (CH), with a high content of 20:5(n-3), eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), and Colombian (COL), San Francisco Bay (SFB) and Great Salt Lake (GSL), with low EPA but high 18:3(n-3), linolenic acid, contents.
