Response of soybean (Glycine max) to phosphorus and residual potassium

Indian Journal of Agronomy 39(2): 320-322

In a field trial at Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu in 1990/91, soyabeans Co 1 were grown after a sunflower crop given 0-40 kg K2O/ha, and were given 0 or 80 kg P2O5/ha and a uniform N application of 40 kg/ha. Seed yield increased with increasing residual K rate, and was 0.96 and 1.16 t/ha with 0 and 80 kg P2O5/ha, respectively.
