Some aspects of the development of the milk system under the agricultural reform conditions prevailing in the Ukraine

A general survey is given of the milk production and processing industry in the Ukraine during the agricultural reform currently taking place in the country after its breakaway from the former USSR. During the era of a planned, socialist economy, milk production was concentrated in kolkhozes and sovkhozes in designated areas; their contribution of total milk production ranged from 65% to 90%.
