Source of inoculum for bacterial streak of wheat

Source of inoculum for bacterial streak of wheat

Arkansas Farm Research 43(2): 10-11

Seeds of Florida 302 (susceptible) and Terral 101 (resistant), disinfested of any naturally occurring Xanthomonas campestris pv. translucens, were infected with 88-14Rif, an antibiotic resistant (marked) strain of the bacterium. Both cultivars were sown in Arkansas at 2 locations in October 1990 and Florida 302 was sown at a third location in November 1991.
