Studies on properties of juvenile wood compared with mature wood in stems of Chinese pine

Five trees of Chinese pine (Pinus tabulaeformis) were collected from a stand in the Zhongtiao Mountains in Shanxi Province. Anatomical, chemical, physical and mechanical properties were compared for the juvenile wood and mature wood.
