, : The agricultural sector. Structural and sectoral adjustment: World Bank experience, 1980-92: 206-230

The chapter reviews World Bank assistance for 12 completed adjustment operations in the agricultural sector of eleven developing countries. It first discusses the audits' and project completion reports' overall assessments of the agricultural sector adjustment loans (ASAL), then looks more closely at their policy issues and speed of implementation, and finally considers some general issues in an overview.
