Towards an integrated management of slug and snail pests

Pesticide Outlook 6(2): 12-16

With special reference to gastropods as pests of agriculture in the UK, but with reference also to gastropods in other parts of the world and as vectors of disease, a review is presented of the prospects for developing integrated control measures. Topics discussed include the need for integrated management, surfactant adjuvants, surfactant molluscicides, receptor mediated uptake, improved chemical control and biological control.
