Veneer cutting of softwoods IV. Influence of varied depths of cuts, cutting directions to pith and shapes of knife edges on the veneer quality

Veneer cutting of softwoods IV. Influence of varied depths of cuts, cutting directions to pith and shapes of knife edges on the veneer quality

Mokuzai Gakkaishi = Journal of the Japan Wood Research Society 39(9): 1005-1011

Veneer was cut from Cryptomeria japonica wood under the conditions of 1 and 2 mm depths of cut, from bark to pith, and with a knife having both face and back microbevels.
