A method of determining values of soil porosity as a function of unit pressure

, : A method of determining values of soil porosity as a function of unit pressure. Zeszyty Problemowe Postepow Nauk Rolniczych 416: 305-315

The functional dependence was identified for determining a course of changes in general porosity of a uniaxially loaded soil sample as a function of the exerted unit pressure. On the basis of laboratory examinations performed on samples formed from four soil types, it was shown that this dependence can be imitated, in the examined range of unit pressure changes, with a logarithmic function.
