A new Anagrus (Hymenoptera: Mymaridae), egg parasitoid of Prokelisia spp. (Homoptera: Delphacidae)

, : A new Anagrus (Hymenoptera: Mymaridae), egg parasitoid of Prokelisia spp. (Homoptera: Delphacidae). Pan-Pacific Entomologist. October; 714: 199-203

Anagrus sophiae sp. nov. is described by the 1st author and illustrated on the basis of a type-series from California and Florida. This species is a common egg parasitoid of Prokelisia marginata on salt marsh cordgrass, (Spartina alterniflora), in salt marshes along the Atlantic, Gulf, and Pacific Coasts of the United States, and S. foliosa on the Pacific Coast. The new species also parasitizes eggs of P. dolus in Florida.
