A preliminary study on the fumigation effect of aluminium phosphide and methyl bromide on rice water weevils

Adults of a new generation of rice water weevils (Lissorhoptrus oryzophilus) were caught in paddy fields in Hebei, China, from June to September for 28 or 11 days and then they were fumigated with 56% aluminium phosphide or with 98% methyl bromide.
