Ekonomika Sel' skokhozyaistvennykh i Pererabatyvayushchikh Predpriyatii ( 1): 14-16

The agrarian reform taking place in Russia as the result of the move towards a market economy is illustrated by the example of Bryansk Oblast'. By the beginning of 1994, the reorganization and registration of the region's former kolkhozes and sovkhozes was virtually complete, resulting in the formation of 180 limited liability societies, 82 collectives and 57 production cooperatives, leaving 115 kolkhozes and 26 sovkhozes.
