Albumins in the endosperm of caryopses from different wheat species

Buletinul Academiei de Stiinte a Re icii Moldova Stiinte Biologice si Chimice ( 2): 10-15

Results are presented from a PAGE analysis of the albumins in Triticum monococcum (genomes AA), T. durum (genomes AABB) varieties Khar'kovskaya 46 and Nakat, and T. aestivum (genomes AABBDD) varieties Kavkaz and Bezostaya 1 and mutants Svetovaya and 63. Alterations in the pattern of albumins of different molecular weight and in their amino acid composition with the addition of genome B and genome D to the genome of T. monococcum are reported.
