An attempt at ecological classification of flood meadow vegetation. Keys for identification of ecological and genetic syntaxa in meadows of the Oka River floodplain and efficient ways to use them

An attempt at ecological classification of flood meadow vegetation. Keys for identification of ecological and genetic syntaxa in meadows of the Oka River floodplain and efficient ways to use them

Botanicheskii Zhurnal 80(12): 19-33

The wide applicability of dichotomous keys for identifying ecological syntaxa of herbaceous vegetation is substantiated and the principles and methods of constructing such keys are discussed. A key is provided for identifying the types of meadow on the Oka floodplain and their pasture modifications, with supplementary keys for trampled and old sown meadows.
