Anastomosis groups of Rhizoctonia solani Kuhn and binucleate Rhizoctonia isolates from various crops in Turkey

Anastomosis groups of Rhizoctonia solani Kuhn and binucleate Rhizoctonia isolates from various crops in Turkey

Journal of Turkish Phytopathology 24(2): 57-62

Of 153 Rhizoctonia isolates obtained from various crops in 9 provinces of Turkey, 60% were multinucleate and 40% binucleate. Anastomosis tests showed that the multinucleate R. solani isolates belonged to groups AG-1, AG-2 type 1, AG-2, AG-3, AG-4, AG-5, AG-9 or AG-10, and the binucleate isolates belonged to groups AG-A, AG-E, AG-F, AG-G, AG-I and AG-K.
