The article reviews current developments in agricultural training in France. The number of apprentices on farms and in training centres undergoing different types of agricultural training has more than doubled in ten years to reach over 20 000. Today, some 30 Training Centres offer training for agricultural apprentices which combines training at the centre with training on different farms.
