, : Bee phenology in two areas of Miyazaki Prefecture, Mt. Wanitsuka and Sosanji Village (Hymenoptera, Apoidea). Bulletin of Kagoshima Women' s Junior College ( JAN 31): 73-96

Phenological investigations of wild bees were made monthly in a mountainous area (200-1118 m, Mt. Wanitsuka) and a village area (altitude 0-10 m, Sosanji), Miyazaki Prefecture, Japan, during the period from March to October in 1993 and 1994. In total, 56 species of bees, represented by 847 individuals and belonging to 14 genera in 7 families, were collected on Mt. Wanitsuka, and 7 families, 16 genera, 42 species and 633 individuals in Sosanji Village.
