, : Beef production in Hereford steers grazing tall fescue-subterranean clover in the valley of IX Region, Chile. Agricultura Tecnica Santiago 54(2): 130-135

In grazing trials at Carillanca in 1985-89 a sward of Festuca arundinacea K-31 sown in mixture with Trifolium subterraneum Mount Barker in autumn 1982 was given N, P and K according to soil requirements and grazed rotationally in Oct.-Jan., but continuously by Hereford steers (initially 200 kg) during the rest of the year. Surplus forage was ensiled for winter use.
