Behavior of female Eretmocerus sp. nr. californicus Howard (Aphelinidae: Hymenoptera) attacking Bemisia argentifolii Bellows and Perring (Aleyrodidae: Homoptera) on two native Californian weeds

, : Behavior of female Eretmocerus sp. nr. californicus Howard (Aphelinidae: Hymenoptera) attacking Bemisia argentifolii Bellows and Perring (Aleyrodidae: Homoptera) on two native Californian weeds. Canadian Entomologist. March-April; 1292: 335-345

Searching and ovipositional behaviours by female Eretmocerus sp. nr. californicus on Bemisia argentifolii infesting velvetleaf (Abutilon theophrasti) and telegraph weed (Heterotheca grandiflora) were quantified. Adult female behaviours were described and quantified for E. sp. nr. californicus to establish a behavioural time budget analysis.
