, : Behaviour of cultivars of green-ear maize (Zea mays L.) in Rio Cuarto, Cordoba, Argentina. Horticultura Argentina 13(34/35): 16-22

Fifteen cultivars of maize grown for immature ear production, including amylose, dent and sweetcorn types, were evaluated, along with the predominant local cultivar Diente de Caballo, at Rio Cuarto for 5 consecutive seasons from 1986. Characters studied included resistance to maize rough dwarf fijivirus and earworm (Delphacodes kuscheli), earliness, ear characteristics, cooking and commercial quality, yield and uniformity.
