Behaviour of different antigenic preparations of Mycoplasma arginini in different serological tests

, : Behaviour of different antigenic preparations of Mycoplasma arginini in different serological tests. Indian Journal of Veterinary Research 4(2): 21-26

Whole cell (WC), sonically treated (ST) and triton-100 solubilized (TS) antigens were prepared using M. arginini. The 3 antigenic preparations and 10 (4-13) fractions of TS antigen showed only one precipitin line each in double immunodiffusion test. In counter immunoelectrophoresis, WC, ST and fractions of TS antigen yielded one precipitin line each while TS antigen showed 2 precipitin lines.
