Behaviour of sulla (Hedysarum coronarium L.) and tall fescue (Festuca arundinacea Schreb.) swards at two different sites in the southern inland hills

, : Behaviour of sulla (Hedysarum coronarium L.) and tall fescue (Festuca arundinacea Schreb.) swards at two different sites in the southern inland hills. Rivista di Agronomia 30(3): 281-287

In the experimental fields of S. Angelo dei Lombardi, Alta Irpinia, and of Corleto Perticara, Basilicata, Italy, the growth and yield of H. coronarium ecotype Ascolano and F. arundinacea Penna sown in 1990 were compared in 1990-93. S. Angelo dei Lombardi generally had lower temperatures than Corleto, while water availability, calculated as the difference between precipitation and potential evapotranspiration, was lower at Corleto.
