Behaviour of the leaf miner Phyllonorycter robiniellus (Lepidoptera Gracillariidae) in the Trentino area and possibilities of its control

, : Behaviour of the leaf miner Phyllonorycter robiniellus (Lepidoptera Gracillariidae) in the Trentino area and possibilities of its control. Informatore Fitopatologico 46(10): 50-54

Phyllonorycter robiniellus and Parectopa robiniella were observed infesting Robinia pseudoacacia in Trentino, Italy, at the end of summer 1993. Phyllonorycter robiniella was more abundant and widespread in the area monitored, while the distribution of Parectopa robiniella was more limited. The biology of Phyllonorycter robiniella on R. pseudoacacia and young plants (7 years old) of R. umbraculifera (R. pseudoacacia var. umbraculifera) was studied in the Trentino area in 1994-95.
