Bermudagrass variety evaluations in south Mississippi

, : Bermudagrass variety evaluations in south Mississippi. Bulletin Mississippi Agricultural and Forestry Experiment Station ( 1059): 9 pp.

In field trials during 1990-96 at Poplarville, 12 commercial and experimental lines of Cynodon dactylon were evaluated for forage production, seasonal yield distribution and winter hardiness. The highest yielding lines commercially available were Coastal and Alicia producing 10 778 and 9 762 lb DM/acre, respectively. These had a lower quality than lower-yielding experimental lines such as Grazer and Stallings.
