Characterization of a new Lancefield's group of streptococci from a tiger and a raccoon dog

Characterization of a new Lancefield's group of streptococci from a tiger and a raccoon dog

Chinese Journal of Veterinary Medicine 22(8): 6-8

Two strains of beta -haemolytic streptococci with similar physiological characteristics were isolated from the kidney of a northeast China tiger and the cardiac muscle of a raccoon dog that died from. The two strains had physiological characteristics that differed from 20 known Lancefield's serogroups of streptococci.
