Characterization of soil organic matter with high-speed CPMAS-MNT-spectroscopy

Nineteen soils and 5 NaOH-extracts were measured at 4 kHz and 2.3 Tesla and 15 kHz and 7 Tesla under 13C-CPMAS-NMR conditions. For the high field spectra a reduced signal overlap and a improved resolution was detected. The comparison of both methods leads to the conclusion that CP high-speed magic angle spinning introduces intensity distortions.
