Chemical composition of oleoresin of Pinus sylvestris. The main pine species for oleoresin production in Russia

Chemical composition of oleoresin of Pinus sylvestris. The main pine species for oleoresin production in Russia

Chemistry and Industry of Forest Products 16(1): 11-14

Pinus sylvestris has been classified into 2 groups, central European and southern European, based on the amounts of delta superscript 3-carene in oleoresins of trees from different latitudes. This paper studied the chemical composition of oleoresins from P. sylvestris grown in Russia. It contained large amount of delta superscript 3-carene like that in central Europe at the same latitude.
