Comparison among complement fixation, indirect ELISA and competitive ELISA tests in the serodiagnosis of brucellosis in cattle from herds with a history of the disease

Results obtained by the competitive ELISA using conjugates prepared with monoclonal antibodies BM-38 and BM-40 were compared with those from the complement fixation test and the indirect ELISA in serum samples from cattle from herds with a history of brucellosis. 282 samples were tested by the competitive ELISA using conjugate BM-38 and by the indirect ELISA.
