This study aimed to investigate the cutting mechanism of the reciprocating knife a combine harvester and follows on from part one. The cutting operation of the reciprocating knife with the arrangement of low-cutting and double-cutting was demonstrated through a cutting pattern diagram drawn by computer graphics. Various kinds and dimensions of reciprocating knives were analysed using the developed program.
