Development of the dehulling principle for a serradella dehuller
Serradella (Ornithopus compressus Avila) seed and pod segments have a germination rate of <10%, unless the husks are removed and the naked seed scarified, when the germination rate increases to 85%. The development of the prototype of a machine to thresh the seed is described.
