In trials of 8 hybrids (2 from each of 4 FAO maturity groups) during 1988-90 at 3 sites in Bulgaria, with and without irrigation, the highest grain yield under irrigation was obtained at Pazardzhik, with H708 yielding best, followed by P3737 and Kn530. At Knezha, H708 also gave the best yield, followed by Kn611 and P3737. At Lom, Kn611 gave the highest yield.
