Lifetime production and reproduction records of 300 Holstein-Friesian (HF) crossbred cows, divided into 3 groups on the basis of level of HF blood, were used to study relationships between milk production, relative net income (RNI), RNI adjusted for opportunity cost (RNIOC) and days of productive life. Data from up to 9 lactations/cow for groups 1, 2 and 3 respectively showed mean 1st lactation yield of 5320, 4557 and 4677 kg and productive life (DPL) of 1240, 1037 and 1167 days.
