Effect of Leptospira interrogans serovar hardjo infection on milk yield in endemically infected dairy herds

Three dairy herds, positive for L. interrogans serovar hardjo (hardjo) infection were examined for a correlation between hardjo titres and 305-day milk yields. All 235 cows were blood sampled; each was classified as early (<100 days) mid (100-200 days) or late (>200 days) lactation group.
