Effect of atrazine under different nitrogen levels on forage yield of sorghum (Sorghum bicolor (L.) Moench)

In field experiments in Hisar, Sorghum bicolor was given 0, 60 or 120 kg N/ha and unweeded, hand weeded, or given 0.25, 0.50 or 1.00 kg atrazine/ha pre-emergence. Mean DM yields were highest with 120 kg N + 1.00 kg atrazine (15.99 t DM/ha) and lowest with no weeding or fertilizer (4.6 t DM/ha).
