Intercrops of pigeonpeas AS 71-37 and soyabeans Gaurav grown at Arjia in the 1988-89 rainy seasons were given 10 different N + P fertilizer treatments. Pigeonpea-equivalent yield was highest (1.57 t/ha) when 15 kg N + 12.9 kg P/ha was applied to pigeonpeas and 20 kg N + 16.2 kg P/ha applied to soyabeans.
